Paul Milde is a business owner of CIP Finishes,a multi-million dollar commerical hardware business that serves the greater Metro area. He served on the Stafford Board of Supervisors as the Aquia District Supervisor (2006-2017) and as Chairman of the Board in 2017. Paul has lived in Stafford County for over 30 years where he raised his son and daughter. Both of his children attended Stafford County Public Schools, including Stafford Senior High School.
Paul is a lifelong entrepreneur who believes that with hard work and a willingness to innovate, we can find public policy solutions to even the thorniest of problems. Paul has a track record of success with this common-sense approach to government.
His work to preserve Stafford’s Crow’s Nest peninsula proved that land preservation can be achieved without trampling property rights. As a three-time chairman of the Fredericksburg Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (FAMPO) and a three-time Chairman of the Virginia Railways Express (VRE), Paul learned how important it is for our region to have a tenacious advocate for solutions and funding to address the perennial problem of traffic.
Since his term on the Board of Supervisors ended in 2017, Paul has remained engaged in these and many other issues facing our region.
Paul is president and owner of CIP Finishes, a construction firm headquartered in Stafford County that provides turn-key installation of interior finishing hardware in multi-family residential, commercial and related construction projects. CIP Finishes has grown significantly since Paul founded the company in 1988. The company has installed finishing hardware in more than 30,000 residences in Fredericksburg, Stafford County, Washington, D.C., and beyond.
